They will thrive better when planted in soil and watered thoroughly, rather than being soaked in water.

*It's faster to make a hole with a thin stick (even a tree branch).*

*If you are concerned about wilting, soak them in water for about 3 hours before planting. (Soaking for too long can cause the firm stem to become waterlogged, leading to stem rot and planting failure.)*
